Role Summary
The Senior/Lead Pastor provides spiritual and strategic leadership for the church, guiding its vision, teaching, and ministries. Responsibilities include nurturing spiritual growth, overseeing staff and church activities, developing leaders, and creating a welcoming, diverse, and healthy church culture while fostering sustainable ministry impact. The Pastor demonstrates strong organizational skills with an amiable and engaging personality. The Pastor manages with a collaborative approach, and a deep commitment to the church’s mission.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes:
Minimum $65,000 Full-time Salary
Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, and Holidays)
Professional Development and Ministry Expenses
Qualifications
Completed formal education in theology and pastoral leadership with a preference to those holding a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject.
Experience of five years or more in a vocational pastoral role.
Preached at least 12 times in the past 2 years.
Be in alignment with Vineyard theology, values, and distinctives, with Vineyard ordination required or a willingness to pursue ordination.
A clear and compelling call to pastoral ministry, demonstrated through prior ministry leadership.
Experience leading teams, developing leaders, and overseeing ministries in a local church context.
A track record of outreach, evangelism, and community engagement.
Proficiency in communication tools (Microsoft/SharePoint, Planning Center, Social Media, Google Suite, Etc.)
Willingness to complete a background check.
