End-of-Year
Offering

What is the End of Year Offering?

It's been our tradition at the end of the year to take up a special offering to fund something outside of our normal operational funds.

This year we are collecting funds to help those in need in our church body, our community, and across the country through a belenovence ministry.

In years past, we’ve been able to fund special projects within our church (kitchen remodel, children’s ministry spaces, etc) as well utilize the End of the Year Offering to bless an organization or cause outside of our church (Refuge, Meals on Wheels, Convoy of Hope, etc).

We want to be able to help those in need.

Throughout the year, we receive many requests from people who need financial support paying bills, rent, utilities because of some hardship they are experiencing. We typically can’t help because we don’t have the resources, yet we also don’t just want to provide handouts. We are developing a process and a team of to not only help meet the immediate financial need, but also provide support to remedy the larger need that has brought them to that place of need. Further, to provide pastoral care to connect them with the One who can satisfy their ultimate need: Jesus.

We are also want to be benevolent to those across the country in need.

A portion of all funds received will be given to a regular partner of ours, Convoy of Hope, as they continue to provide relief and aid to those impacted by the recent hurricane disasters.
