Our Mission

We aim to offer a safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate learning environment for all children. The program is designed to meet the individual age appropriate needs of each child. We strive to offer quality, affordable education and care for all families through Biblical principles.

Our Philosophy

We believe that each child is a unique individual and that all children can learn. Our preschool provides inclusive settings that recognize children's varied abilities, interests, needs, and learning styles. We believe children learn best through meaningful play.

September – May
Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00–12:00 pm

TUITION

$25 a session. Pay at the beginning of each month.

WHO CAN ATTEND

Kids 3–4 years by August 1. Must be potty trained.

WE WILL COVER THE OHIO STANDARDS FOR EARLY LEARNING

Open play: Children have the opportunity to learn social skills like sharing, taking turns, and being in a conversation during play. Individual teaching will also take place during this time.

Large group is a time for practicing social skills of speaking and listening as well as introducing content such as letters and numbers and reading stories.

Small groups will be utilized to modify skills to reach the needs of the individual child.

Bible Story time is set aside to go over the week's story from Sunday. Children will be given an opportunity to practice their memory verse too!

Meet the Teachers

  • Christina Venrick

    Christina Venrick

    I am ready for another year of preschool! I currently have a masters in Education and am licensed to teach K-3. I had a degree in Early Childhood coming out of college and have taught K for 20 years before God called me out of public school and into Children's Ministry full time as the Children's Pastor. I have loved the opportunity to start Lancaster's Preschool 3 years ago and look forward to watching it grow each year!

  • Sarah Ackerman

    Sarah Ackerman has been a long time member of our church and a part of our Kid Ministry since 2017. She has been an aide in our mid week preschool since it's beginning in 2023.  She is a graduate of Fairfield Union High School and loves to share the love of Christ to the young ones of our church.
